GPC spineHEAL Lumbar Cage System is a posterior Lumbar Cage System which can be used either in a unilateral transforaminal approach (TLIF) or a bilateral posterior approach (PLIF). It is especially designed for smaller incision, resulting in atraumatic surgery, hence faster recovery. The implant provides adequate stability, restore height & lordosis to provide optimized fusion. GPC spineHEAL Lumbar cages are available in PEEK & titanium material

1)    Anatomical

  • Anatomically designed with convex superior & inferior surfaces
  • Available in two footprints & six heights for various anatomies
  • Specially designed “shark teeth” to provide resistance to cage migration
  • Axial window of 15 mm x 6 mm to receive bone graft or substitute to allow fusion to occur through the implant


2)    Multiple Approaches

 

  • The same implant can be used for the TLIF approach as well as the PLIF approach.
  • TLIF- Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion
    A single cage of size between 28 mm - 32 mm is inserted with a transforaminal approach
  • PLIF- Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion
    Two cages are inserted, bilaterally of size 24 mm each, with a posterior approach
